This 30 year-old body builder presented to Dr. Agha at The Aesthetic Centers for gynecomastia correction. He was unhappy with “nipple areola protrusion” especially when contracting his chest muscles. Physical examination of his chest was remarkable for excess breast tissue behind his nipple areolae and nipple areola protrusion.
During a 1.5 hour surgery under local anesthesia, Dr. Agha, through a semi-circular incision, performed excision of the breast tissue behind his nipple areola. Although the correction was small, the results had to be extremely accurate because even the smallest excess or over-correction would immediately show up on such defined chest and body.
Patient’s before and after gynecomastia correction photos are shown at about 3 months following his surgery.
