Umbilical Hernia Repair with Scar Revision Before and After Photos – Patient 30

This patient presented to Dr. Agha for an abdominal scar revision around his navel. The patient had previously undergone an umbilical hernia repair by a general surgeon, resulting in a widened, abdominal scar. On examination, the patient clearly had recurrence of his umbilical hernia. Dr. Agha therefore planned to perform repair of his umbilical hernia again while revising his abdominal scar. During a two hour surgery Dr. Agha completed a secondary umbilical hernia repair on the patient while revising his scar. Patient’s postoperative results are shown at three months after his surgery.
